Other than the diamonds' quality, the next most important diamond characteristic is the diamonds' measurements. There are many different types of diamond measurements being used to describe the size of a diamond.
Weight Measurement (Carat) Carat is one of the 4C diamond characteristic, it stands for the weight of the diamond, therefore it is the most important diamond measurement. Carat describe how large or how heavy the diamond is.
